As owner and CEO of Homeland Security Careers, Kimberly Hessler has dedicated her career to coaching, training, and assisting transitioning military members and their families. Kimberly currently holds the distinction of being the longest serving Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Facilitator worldwide, having served 19 years as a TAP Facilitator for the military. She recently retired from teaching TAP to focus fulltime on her business, Homeland Security Career Consulting and Training and her new non-profit organization, North Star Careers, which is dedicated to helping wounded warriors and their families transition from active duty. In addition to having developed this widely popular LinkedIn training, Kimberly facilitates many career related seminars.

Always encouraging her clients to be active members of their communities, Kimberly leads by example and currently serves as a board member for numerous organizations including the Military Spouse Career Community (MSCC), Women in Defense (WID), and the annual Colorado Springs’ Festival of Lights Parade.
